Raneem is a civil engineer with a degree in Nonprofit and NGOs management, she has devoted her education, skills and experience to launch and develop different programs and start ups such as Shelter and Rehabilitation projects, youth education, empowerment and entrepreneurship within the humanitarian sector in different countries such as Jordan and Tunisia.
For that commitment she’s received HRH Princess Basma Award for development and community service for the institutional category in 2013. Raneem is also member of Global shaper and a Sweden Institute Fellow.

Short Bio: Layla’s business started as a hobby, she always loved art and design, on her son’s first birthday she wanted to buy him a special cake, she couldn’t find anything as she pictured, then she decided to bake it herself. It wasn’t an easy task as material was not available in her area, despitethechallenges, she made a special decent cake for her son. Then in 2015, she started her own business Looly’s Bakery, designing and serving special cakes for special occasions. Her first clients were friends and family members, demands on her cakes visibly increased when she launched her Facebook page, “technology made my business reachable to many potential clients in Sudan”.
Layla is a working mom from home, she faced challenges to find a job with regular hours that would allow her to take care of her son as well, “limited chances for working moms in Sudan has pushed me to launch my business, so I can take of my son as well”.
Today, Looly’s Bakery was named the first creative cake designer in Sudan, it has reached more than 200 customers, with more than 3000 followers on social media.
Layla has succeeded her mission in enabling herself with being an independent working mom, and as many of Sudanese women are going through the same challenges, she is joining Womenpreneur to develop her skills and learn how to support other women in her community to become successful andindependent.

Short bio: Khadija Maalej, is a social and cultural activist, who advocates for youth development, women empowerment and cultural exchange.
She is the CEO and the co- founder of #Wled Tounes which includes #Hrayer Tounes program for women empowerment and #EL Birou Birouna a co-working for social startups. This initiative is the fruit of her passion for Entrepreneurship and her sense of civic engagement. She worked as a communication manager for more than 3 years in a petroleum services company. Recently, she got her master degree in professional business communication.

Short bio: In the heart of Amman and hidden down a narrow alley in Rainbow Street, Falak is a venue that perfectly combines the music, culture, and art.
Falak was created by Maysoon to bring together women who have mutual interest in art and media (painting, photography, filmmaking, recycling). They always used to work from home on their own projects and rent a space to organize their exhibitions and workshops, but that made them restricted in terms of time. Maysoon struggled to find a place where they can all belong to; but she then found a space, she along with her team built it all over, and now it is place where they hold different activities related to art.

Short bio: Soukaina got her engineering degree in industrial engineering in 2012, then she worked for two years in firm of engineering consultants specialising in the energetics efficiency and renewable energies , and then she got inspired to create MSLEAN company that aims to solve the issue of energy dependence in her country Morocco.
Morocco suffers greatly from its energy dependence, importing 97% of its coal and oil energy needs, so the energy cost is high. This problem led her to use her expertise in energy science to support small enterprises, agricoles cooperatives and also projects of artisans to streamline its energy use and help them take advantage of solar energy as another source of energy.
This initiative could control and minimize the energy consumption in order to increase profitability of their project and protect the environment from excessive use of fossil fuels.
Energy dependence is a major problem that prevents the small investor to invest also, threatens the environment due to the rejection of coal and Oil combustion in the air.
Soukaina’s project MsLean aims to support small business and agricultural cooperative by giving them various solutions adapted to their needs in order to better rationalize and optimize their electrical energy utilization also, to improve the quality of their services offered to consumers. For example the company encourages them to:
– Using the equipment that bears the label “Energy Star”;
– Proposing solar pumping instead the electrical pumping;
– Using solar power as an energy source.

Short bio: Azza was born and raised in Mansoura and now she lives in Alexandria. In 2008, she graduated from Alexandria University with Bachelor degree on Fine Arts, and received her Master Degree on Interior Design, in 2014. Her business idea started when she was student in her third year at the university, she studied stained glass, and became fascinated with the designs of glass art, and studying glass art was light inspiration to start her business.
Her initiative is a workshop for manufacturing stained glass panels which use in decoration, combining her research with her passion for architecture, she made various pieces: doors, windows, Ceiling, mirrors, small gifts. Azza got an award of Best Project idea 2015 from Intilaaqah shell Egypt and award of Health and Safety 2016.
Azza’s social business concentrates on women’s work to enable them to be efficient members of the Egyptian society. She wants her project to be a place where young women work to get income and be powerful.

Short bio: Rania is an engineer; she graduated from Jordan University of Science and Technology – Faculty of Agriculture-production plant in 2009.
She owns a gallery Plants interior and Landscape and design of the garden (three-dimensional, two-dimensional). She was named the first Agricultural engineer woman in Irbid, she has become a role model for several female engineers. She was the first to introduce plants Dutch interior to Irbid and worked on tariff card containing the needs of plants (fertilizer, irrigation, lighting …..). Through her business she is landscaping and designing gardens in various ways depending on her clients’ needs and suitability for the region. Rania herself trains Female engineers from her town every six months. Rania was awarded the “City Bank” prize for her social business, among many other awards.

Shadya Al Hobieshi
Short bio: Shadya is from Yemen, she has a master degree on Gender and Population. She launched her own clothing-line business named “Ahla Aiamy” which is established on December 2013, the focus area of her business is importing clothes from China every 3 months and sell it to customers directly from her store and through private sales via social media.
Shadya is looking to reach global market and interested in working with women who are ambitious to expand their businesses.

Short bio: Dina launched her business “Kingdom of medical bee” when she was only 23 years old, it is a healthy medical project. It consists of cosmetics medical basic components of natural plants, which have good effects on health
Four years ago, when Dina was doing her Bachelor on Chemistry Science at the University of Taiz, she was interested in AVI Scientific Research (chemical analysis) and cosmetic products in the market, she found that more than 28 skin products contain harmful chemical elements, complex compounds that are the basis of the destruction of human cells. Since then, Dina started looking for ways to cut down the use of industrial cosmetics, and replace them with natural elements, including botanical for the skin treatment, and the renewal of cells, as the revitalization of the circulatory system.
Dina’s project has been nominated as “most innovative scientific project” in different international events and platforms.
