Womenpreneur-Initiative is an organisation based in Brussels. Our activities and actions are focused on Belgium and the MENA region (Middle East & North Africa) and since 2016 we have reached and supported more than 15,000 women.

Our goal is to advance the position of women in the entrepreneurial scene but also in technology, innovation and society. We achieve our goals through a variety of innovative experiences, entrepreneurial activities, mentoring sessions, leadership programs, technology education, events and networking opportunities.

Position

Womenpreneur-Initiative is pleased to announce that we have an internship position open for a project manager. We are looking for a dynamic intern to join our team. The aim of the internship is to provide a rewarding opportunity for a young worker, both personally and professionally.

The intern will be responsible for developing the communication strategy, coordinating external actions and steering the social media strategy. The intern will be asked to carry out tasks related to Womenpreneur’s current projects. Tasks may include :

  • Promoting the organisation by writing content for our different media and social networks.
  • Contribute to the management of activities and carry out communication campaigns. Organising online animations: co-creation, surveys, sharing…
  • Develop visibility and a positive image of our organisation in the society and in the media. 
  • Implementing promotional and communication tools (events, website animation, sending newsletters, promotional brochures, etc.) in order to make the organisation known.
  • Develop the digital communication plan and adapt it to social media
  • Organise the complementary use of communication channels.
  • Integrate best practices in community animation and develop the community
  • Manage members: core, active and lurkers
  • Optimise and develop new tools and processes to support the development of our business.

It is desirable that the intern speaks English, French, Dutch and speaking Arabic is a bonus. The intern must be a student or recent graduate in communication or public relations.

This is an unpaid internship lasting for 3 months.
