Women Entrepreneurs in Tech
Did you know that women score higher than men in most leadership positions. Women are rated as performing better in taking initiative, acting with resilience, practicing self-development, driving for results and displaying high integrity and honesty. Nevertheless, according to the technology federation Agoria, 90% of Belgian companies are still male. Only 10% of the founders and 13% of the directors of startups and scaleups are women.
How can this disparity be explained? What need to be done to correct this imbalance? And -above all- how long can we afford to leave so much female leadership talent unused? Ten experienced women entrepreneurs in tech tell their stories, share their challenges and go in search of answers and solutions.
