LAMA YOUNIS

Lama Younis is the founder the Hissah Enrichment Center but is also a criminologist, forensic psychologist and traumatologist. She founded the Center in 2013 to enrich interpersonal skills, to develop personal empowerment, and to improve social relationships on personal and professional levels for adults, youth and children across the GCC. In 2016, Lama, being a children’s right activist, she also decided to launch the Lama Campaign. It’s a not-for-profit organization dedicated to ensuring the protection and well-being of Muslim children and youth through education and awareness.

Lama holds multiple diploma from various prestigious universities in the world. She has a Bachelor degree in sciences from the Effat University (Saudi Arabia) and a Master degree in sciences, criminology and forensic psychology from Middlesex University (London). She then followed courses on delinquents, criminals, psychopaths and terrorists at Harvard University. In 2013, she obtained her PhD at Birkbeck College (London) in Philosophy, International Childhood Studies.
