GIZ & Womenpreneur are delighted to invite you to participate at the Fit4Future Business Women program, a two weeks intensive program for women entrepreneurs, women SMEs leader or owner, in Egypt which is designed to provide targeted training and tools to allow participants to tap into their full economic potential.
Meet the Fit4Future participants :
This training program guides female entrepreneurs through exercises and workshops designed to strengthen and increase their entrepreneurial skills and knowledge, while ensuring their businesses are prepared to scale up upon completion of the program’s activities.
The program will provide 20 women entrepreneurs (included female-led/female-owned SMEs) with the training and support they need to advance in four important areas: business resilience, financial literacy and education, secure business digitalization and, lastly, sustainable growth.
Objectives of the program:
- Promoting women’s entrepreneurial activities in Egypt
- Supporting and expanding a strong network of women entrepreneurs in Egypt
- Increasing the resilience of women-owned and operated businesses in Egypt to better withstand economic shocks like the Covid-19 pandemic
The focus areas of the program are the following:
- Business resilience
- Business digitalization
- Financial literacy and education
- Sustainable growth
At the end of the program, successful participants will be provided with a Certificate of Achievement upon completion of all of the program.
Selection Criteria:
- Beneficiaries must be entrepreneurs (manufacturing entrepreneurs / SME) living and working in Egypt
- Beneficiaries must have business that has existed for at least one year
- Beneficiaries must have a business in one of the following areas: Agri Business & Food Processing, Engineering/ Construction, Medical & Chemical Sector, Packaging sector, Manufacturing, Services & Technology, Social business
- Beneficiaries must be able to commit to the full two-weeks training and subsequent follow-up activities
- Beneficiaries must have their own laptops and currently utilize some technological applications
Selection Process:
The selection process will take place in two rounds.
In the first round an application will be published online through Google Forms that will require prospect participants to provide information about themselves and their business and take a short knowledge test on the focus areas of the program (Business Resilience, Digitalization, Financial Literacy, Sustainability). Application deadline : 23rd January 2023, 23h00 CET.
At the end of the first round, an independent jury will select 30 women that will pass on to the second round of selection.
In this round, the selected women will be interviewed according to the before mentioned selection criteria by the independent jury and, eventually, 20 of them will be accepted to the take part in the F4FB program.
After the training period, a coaching and networking period for the 20 candidates will also be organized.
Submissions will be prioritized from applicants who come from diverse or marginalized backgrounds.
Timeline
Applications are open from December 15, 2022 to January 23, 2023 at 11:59 pm. Applications can be made via the form.
The 20 candidates selected to participate in the program will be contacted the week of 1st February 2023
The program will take place from 13 to 28 February 2023 in Cairo (taking place in mornings only then followed by lunch)
2 networking dinners are planned for the participants to grow their netwrok.
After the training period, there will also be a coaching and networking period, and support from Womenpreneur
End of April, there will be a follow up session with the participants to evaluate their businesses performance.

، وهو برنامج مكثف لمدة أسبوعين لرائدات الأعمال ، أو قائدات أو مالكات في الشركات الصغيرة والمتوسطة ، في مصر والذي سيساعد في تنمية أعمالهن
يوجه هذا البرنامج التدريبي رائدات الأعمال من خلال التدريبات وورش العمل المصممة لتقوية وزيادة مهاراتهن ومعرفتهن في مجال ريادة الأعمال ، ومساعدة أعمالهن على الاستعداد للتوسع بعد الانتهاء من المشاركة في البرنامج
سيوفر البرنامج 20 سيدة أعمال (بما في ذلك المشاريع الصغيرة والمتوسطة التي تقودها سيدات) بالتدريب والدعم الذي تحتاجه للتقدم في أربعة مجالات مهمة: مرونة الأعمال ، والتعليم المالي ، ورقمنة الأعمال التجارية ، وأخيراً ، النمو المستدام
أهداف البرنامج:
تشجيع ريادة الأعمال النسائية في مصر
دعم وتوسيع شبكة قوية من رائدات الأعمال في مصر
زيادة قدرة الشركات التي تملكها وتديرها النساء في مصر على الصمود أمام الصدمات الاقتصادية بشكل أفضل مثل جائحة كوفيد -19
المجالات التي يركز عليها البرنامج هي التالية:

النمو المستدام
في نهاية البرنامج ، سيتم تزويد المشاركات الناجحات بشهادة الإنجاز عند الانتهاء من البرنامج بأكمله
معايير الاختيار:
- يجب أن تكون المستفيدات من رائدات الأعمال (رائدات التصنيع / المشاريع الصغيرة والمتوسطة) اللواتي يعشن ويعملن في مصر
- يجب أن يكون لدى المستفيدات أعمال موجودة منذ عام واحد على الأقل
- يجب أن يكون لدى المستفيدات عمل تجاري في أحد المجالات التالية: الأعمال الزراعية وتجهيز الأغذية ، الهندسة / البناء ، القطاع الطبي والكيماوي ، قطاع التغليف ، التصنيع ، الخدمات والتكنولوجيا ، الأعمال الاجتماعية
- يجب أن تكون المستفيدات قادرات على الالتزام بالتدريب الكامل لمدة أسبوعين وأنشطة المتابعة اللاحقة
- يجب أن يكون لدى المستفيدات أجهزة الكمبيوتر المحمولة الخاصة بهن وأن يستخدمن حاليًا بعض التطبيقات التكنولوجية
عملية الاختيار:
ستتم عملية الاختيار في جولتين
في الجولة الأولى ، سيتم نشر طلب عبر الإنترنت من خلال نموذج Google الذي سيتطلب من المشاركات تقديم معلومات عن أنفسهن وأعمالهن وإجراء اختبار معرفي قصير حول مجالات تركيز البرنامج (مرونة الأعمال ، والرقمنة ، ومحو الأمية المالية ، والاستدامة) . الموعد النهائي لتقديم الطلبات: 23 يناير 2023 ، الساعة 23:00 بتوقيت وسط أوروبا
في نهاية الجولة الأولى ، ستختار لجنة تحكيم مستقلة 30 امرأة ينتقلن إلى الجولة الثانية من الاختيار
في هذه الجولة ، ستتم مقابلة النساء المختارات وفقًا لمعايير الاختيار المذكورة سابقًا من قبل لجنة التحكيم المستقلة ، وفي النهاية ، سيتم قبول 20 منهن للمشاركة في برنامج F4FB
بعد فترة التدريب ، سيتم أيضًا تنظيم فترة تدريب شخصي وتواصل مع المرشحات العشرين المختارات
سيتم إعطاء الأولوية للمشاركات من المتقدمين الذين يأتون من خلفيات متنوعة أو مهمشة
الجدول الزمني
باب التقديم مفتوح من 15 ديسمبر 2022 إلى 23 يناير 2023 الساعة 11:00 مساءً. يمكن تقديم الطلبات عبر النموذج عبر الإنترنت
سيتم إبلاغ المرشحين العشرين الذين تم اختيارهم للمشاركة في البرنامج في الأسبوع الذي يبدأ في الأول من فبراير 2023
سيُقام البرنامج في الفترة من 13 إلى 28 فبراير 2023 في القاهرة (يُقام في الصباح ثم يليه غداء)
بعد فترة التدريب ، ستكون هناك أيضًا فترة تدريب وتواصل ، ودعم من Womenpreneur
في نهاية أبريل ، ستكون هناك جلسة متابعة مع المشاركين لتقييم أداء أعمالهم.
